DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: LuangPrabang – Arrival – LuangPrabang half day tour (-/Lunch/-)

Transfer via: International flight – Your own arrangement.

Upon your arrival in LuangPrabang Airport, we will be transferred to LuangPrabang for check-in hotel.

After breakfast at hotel. We will start our half day city tour with visiting WatVisun, WatAham, the beautiful WatXieng Thong. Will walk along the street, visit the National Museum, climb Phu Si mountain to enjoy the view overlooking the city and take in the amazing view the Nam Kan river joining the Mekong. From here we can see the magic Mekong and the tributaries of the Nam Khan river.

Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Day 2: LuangPrabang – Tadse waterfall – Pak Ou Cave – LuangPrabang (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel. A 20 min drive and 10 mins boat ride brings you to the famous Tad Sea Waterfall which is famous for it cooling waterfall and 1 hour elephant riding on the waterfall where you are bound to be amazed by the charm and beauty of their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, we board a cruise up the Mekong River, which gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as a fascinating visit deep within the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they distill local rice wine. Then we take a short drive to Ban XangKhong and Ban Xienglek, well known for its handmade paper.

Transfer back to our hotel in LuangPrabang. Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Day 3: LuangPrabang – Flight to Hanoi -  Hanoi Arrival – Half day city tour (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

Transfer via: Domestic Flight – By Vietnam Airline – Our own arrangement.

In the morning, after breakfast at hotel, be free to explore LuangPrabang yourself before transfer to the airport.

Meet our driver again at 10:30 AM, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon your arrival in Hanoi, be picked up and transfer to Hanoi Old Quarter for check in hotel and start our city tour half day.

Afternoon Hanoi tour starts visiting the Temple of Literature (or you might choose one of the museums in Hanoi – Hilton Hanoi, Military museum, Museum of History..), then move to the West Lake and pay a visit to the oldest pagoda Tran Quoc. Continue drive to HoanKiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house. A Green Car (or cyclo ride) tour around the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians. Tour ends after a cup of coffee or tea at an authentic Hanoi corner cafe where you can have talks with local people, exchange cultural way of life.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong bay (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

08:00: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.

12:00: Arrive Ha Long Bay, transfer by tender to the Seasun cruise, and enjoy welcome drinks. Check in your cabin and enjoy a real Vietnamese lunch while beginning your sail through the fairy land of Ha Long Bay, passing by Stone Dog islet, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Cocks, Swan islet, and Duck islet…

15:00: Drop anchor to explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave).

16:00: Enjoy kayaking and swimming or relaxing on the cruise.

18:00: Enjoy the complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with wine and fresh fruits.

19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant.

21:00: Retire to your cabin, have a drink at the bar, sing karaoke, join the fishing excursion or play exciting games. Overnight on boat.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

07:30:  Breakfast will be served while we start our cruise to a local Pearl Farm.

08:30:  Visit the local Pearl Farm.

09:30: Checking out your cabin and relax on board while our cruise is slowly sailing on the bay.

10:00: Join cooking class demonstration (teaching you how to make our specialty, Spring rolls) on board.

10:45:  Lunch is served on board (or at a local restaurant).

11:45:  Disembark at the harbor, Ha Long city. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi.

16:30:  Arrival back Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Flight to Siem Reap (Breakfast/-/-)

Transfer via: International Flight – Our own arrangement.

8:00 Our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s hero. At the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the nation’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October – November, we will revise the itinerary to avoid Mon and Fri), the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office and a fine example of French architecture in Hanoi, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. After visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, we will take a 20 minute drive from your hotel to the very impressive Museum of Ethnology, among the finest of Vietnam's museums. You will see many exhibits, photographs and actual houses inhabited by some of the 54 ethnic people in Vietnam. It will offer a truly colorful introduction to these ethnic tribes.

Our lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the airport for our flight to Siem Reap.

Upon your arrival in Siem Reap, we will be picked up by our local tour guide and driver, then transfer to our hotel for check-in. Rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap (Breakfast/-/-)

In the morning after having breakfast we will exploration of the temples. Enter this last capital of the Khmer empire through the Southern Gate where giant carvings of gods and demons flank each side of the entrance. Inside this great city, explore the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of Leper King. Feel the serenity that exudes from the stone face carvings of the Bayon and temple walls covered in emerald-green moss intertwined with roots which many deem the most charming of all, Ta Prohm.

Afternoon exploration to Angkor Wat, an architectural and artistic masterpiece of the mighty Khmer Empire. Sunset at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup paints the temple in an orange hue. While having dinner tonight will be accompanied with classical Apsara dancers depicting scenes from Khmer mythology.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Departure (Breakfast/-/-)

In the morning, enjoy a drive through the lovely countryside to visit BantaeySrei and BantaeySamre, which many consider BantaeySrei to be the prettiest temple.

Then will continue to visit the Cambodia Landmine Museum getting to know about the recent civil war in Cambodia was ended 1998 as well will complete the morning activity visiting BanteaySamre temple.

After bit relaxes at your hotel then we continue our tour guide through the incomparable temples of NeakPoen (if the schedule allows) and Preah Khan. After touring the grounds, 4: 30-5: 00 hours, small boats will be waiting on a pier located right at the East Gate of the Temple. From there we will begin an unforgettable sunset cruise through the lush nature that languishes in the artificial lake Baray Reach Dak heritage of the Angkor Empire and recently restored (2009).

Back to our hotel and relax at your own leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
