Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Water Puppet Show (-/-Welcome dinner)

Upon your arrival in Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in the Old Quarter for check-in. Free at your own leisure.
In the evening, enjoy dinner with Vietnamese authentic food at a local restaurant. After that, we will enjoy the unique Thang Long Water Puppet show.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour  (B/L/D)

At 8:00 am, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel’s lobby. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following by that we will wander around the city by car to see the real life of Hanoian as well as the difference parts the city.

Leave for the legendary of  Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword-Return Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to a former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians. Continue to visit St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hanoi Opera House  some of the most typical buildings of French-colonial architecture in Hanoi (optional)

After that, we will take one-hour cyclo (paddle rickshaw) around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 streets names’ was related to the products being sold there.

Have dinner in a local restaurant.

Drop off at your hotel in the Old Quarter. Free at your own leisure.

Day 3: Halong bay (B/L/D)

Day 3: Hanoi - Hon Gai Harbor – Bai Tu Long – Cong Do – Cap La Island – Tra San (B/L/D)

07.45 – 8:30: The Swan shutter bus will pick you up from your hotel and heading to northeast of Vietnam

12.30: Arrive at Swan office, transferred by tender to Swan Cruise.

12.45: Enjoy welcome drink, be briefing about safety on boat and activities included then check in cabin.

13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu while leisurely cruising to the core of Halong

15.00: Arrive to kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing.

17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.

19.00: Sumptuous set-dinner onboard.

20.30: Free time for joining Games, you may also try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 4: Halong bay– Hanoi (B/L/D)

Day 4: Tra San – Thien Canh Son Cave –  Hon Gai Harbor - Hanoi (B/L/D)

06.30: Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck.

07.00: Breakfast will be served in Western style and furthermore with Vietnamese traditional food – ‘PHO’

08.00: Explore the Thien Canh Son.  guide will explain the history of Ha Long Bay and this Cave, made by Mother Nature

 09.30: Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from your cabin, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabin (staff will transfer directly to the pier).

10.30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat.

11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

12.00: Disembark in Hon Gai pier

12.30: Farewell Halong Bay then returns to Hanoi

17.30: Drop-off at your hotel in Hanoi. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 5 : Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B/L/D)

Transfer via: Vietnam Airline – Hanoi- Hue.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and wait until transferring to the airport for your flight to Hue.

Upon your arrival in Hue, you will be met and transferred at the airport to your hotel for check-in. Free at your own leisure.

Have lunch & dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: Hue Imperial Citadel tour (B/L/D)

08:00 AM – 08h30 AM: Our tour guide come to meet you at your hotel for pick-up. Then depart to visit Hat and incenses stick making village. Here, you have chance to learn how to make a hat and an incenses, exploring the traditional job of Hue Hoian, and you can buy some for souvenirs.

09h30 AM: Bus come to Khai Dinh tomb. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, being a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stone faces of the mandarin honour guards are endowed with a mixture of Vietnamese and European features.

11h00: Back to the city to enjoy Authentic Hue food

13h00 PM: Continue to visit Hue Citadel. Tour guide will lead you to visit the tallest flag pole of Vietnam (37m-hight), Ngo Mon gate where Bao Dai ended Nguyen dynasty, Thai Hoa palace ( Palace of Supreme Harmony), Hall of the Mandarins, Forbidden Purple city

14h30 PM: Proceed to visit garden house which are a unique feature of Hue. The houses are traditional, privately owned, and set in attractive formal gardens. Some have connections with the old Royal Imperial Court. Hue traditional architecture has long been close associated with the natural environment. The garden houses reflect this association. Each is highly individual – house and garden, people and scenery, plants, clouds and water co-exist and blend with each other in a harmonious context

15h00 PM: Bus take you to Thien Mu pagoda which built on a hillock overlooking the. Perfume river, this pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue city.

Cruise the beautiful perfume river by dragon boat viewing daily life along the way. Visit some villages and do not miss viewing sunset on the river.

Have dinner at a local restaurant.

17:00 PM: Drop off at your hotel in Hue. Free at your own leisure.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 7:  Hue - Lang Co (B/L/-)

Breakfast will be served at your hotel.

Free at your own leisure until check out in mid day.

At around 10:00 am, our private car will pick you up at your hotel in Hue and transfer to Lang Co Beach. Check in your resort in Lang Co Beach and relax.

Free at your own leisure.

Have lunch & dinner at Lang Co Beach Resort.

Day 8: Lang Co beach free day (B/L/D)

Breakfast will be served at resort. You will have a free day to enjoy a relaxing moment in the sauna or the massage room or a game of tennis on the tennis court.  You can join other outdoor activities such as football, volleyball, table tennis, or a swim in the warm waters of Lang Co beach.  Nothing is more relaxing than lying under the coconut trees while enjoying the beauty of the sandy beach in the sun.

Day 9: Lang Co – Transfer to Hoi An (B/L/D)

At around 10:00 am, our private car will pick you up at your hotel’s lobby and transfer to Hoian. Check in your resort in Hoian and relax. Free to explore the charming beauty of Hoian nightlife.

Have lunch & dinner at local restaurant.

Day 10: Hoian – Hoian half day walking tour (B/L/D)

AM: We start the day (8.00am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 3863210) – our meeting point.

Visit Hoi An’s colorful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking class has finished, you can relax and enjoy free use of our 20 meter swimming pool - towels and showers provided.

PM: You will be met up by local tour guide at your hotel’s lobby, then start our half day walking tour around Hoian Ancient Town. As walking down to the town, you will immediately feel the hospitality and friendship the locals extend to you. And you can see that what is so special about Hoian is that this little port town is in an incredible state of preservation and so on.

We will drop in and visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoian, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Then go back to your hotel. Free at your own leisure.

Day 11: Hoian – Transfer to Danang (B/L/D)

At around 8:00 am, our car and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hoian and transfer to Danang. Check in your resort in Danang and relax.

Overnight in Danang.

Day 12: Danang free day (B/L/D)

Breakfast at resort. Free day at your own leisure. Enjoy swimming in crystal water and relaxing at one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.

Day 13: Danang – Flight to Saigon (B/L/D)

Transfer via: Vietnam Airline – Danang to Saigon.

Relax until check out and being transferred to the airport for your flight to Saigon.
Upon your arrival in Saigon, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Saigon for check-in and relax.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 14 option: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Cao Dai Temple – Saigon (B/L/D)

Day 14 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Market – Tan Phong Island – Saigon (B/L/D)

(option) In the morning, at 08:00AM, our guide & driver pick –up at the lobby of your hotel, then we depart the hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. We also stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will transfer to the Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, When Cu Chi was " A Free Target Zone ". The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City, have lunch & dinner a local restaurant.

Drop off at your hotel at around 17:30. Free at your own leisure.

Overnight in Saigon

Saigon – Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Market – Tan Phong Island – Saigon (B/L/D)

At around 7:30 am, our car and driver will pick you up at your hotel’s lobby and depart for Cai Be. En route to Cai Be, our tour guide will introduce to you the specific cultures of Mekong river residents

Arrive at Mekong rest stop, where you can see all of the landscapes of the Southern Vietnam in its garden and able to enjoy tasty cuisines in Mekong region. It is an impressive place for tourists. Continue your trip to Cai Be and arrive to Cai Be dock at around 9:00 am. Cruising in the river to the busy Cai Be floating market where is placing many boats filling fully fruits and agricultural produces on. Selling and exchanging is hold until 10.00 am every day.

After that, cruising to the villages where is lying on along the Tien river bank.  Wandering on the village paths under orchard gardens to local business families to see how they make brick, crispy corn, rice wine.

Our boat will take us to Tan Phong Island for lunch.

After short rest, take a riding on bicycle around the village paths to see orchard gardens (jack fruits, rambutan, organe, longan, pomelo and so on)

 Then getting on bpard– rowed sampan through the creeks to enjoy the natural beautiful landscapes and the peaceful life of the islanders.

After that, we will be cruising back to Cai Be dock. Our bus will take tourist back to Saigon. Drop aff at your hotel in Saigon. Free at your own leisure.

Day 15: Saigon – Departure (B/L/-)

Transfer via: Flight to Norway  
Today you will have free time to relax until lunch then transfer to the Saigon International Airport for departure flight.
